My website has been declined for a couple of programs that I was really very interested in promoting. My interest being so high because I use the products, think they are great and honestly want to refer people.

Sometimes I feel that I am stuck in a new website kind of catch-22. My website doesn't generate enough traffic to be approved or my website isn't specialized enough. I want the quality programs to make a quality site. What can I do about it? Anything?

Partially answering my own question, I know one answer is CONTENT. That is a perfect answer for my smaller, more targeted sites. However, my cover-a-lot-of-topics for a large market website could take a long time before reaching its true "vision". That website is "my baby"; the one that got me started in the first place. Is there anything I can do there to get the approvals?

Hi there. It's so frustrating when that happens, especially when you use the product all the time yourself. But, there's so many products out there - too many for you to promote. Just keep building your site and adding great content, and promote good programs that will accept you. Once you're getting more traffic to your site, if you still want to promote your original choices, I'm sure it will be ok to reapply.

Thank you for your reply, Richer.

For the most part, I guess I'll just be patient. Wink

However, the one program that I just don't want to go without, I have emailed them and politely asked if they would review their decision with me. At least understanding exactly why I was declined in that case would help me know where I need to improve.

Maybe they will answer. Maybe they won't. Hopefully if won't hurt to have asked.
