Hi All and Rosalind,Smile

There have been some great replies, and its good to find out that others have had similar concerns - it wasnt such a dumb question. Being new to this particular medium, I have to take in a lot of information, but its hard sometimes who to believe!

Well writing or creating a show geared towards viewer experience response, and curiosity is not a new concept. This is all good news that the basic time tested principles of communication and entertainment have not changed over a few thousand years....

I'm also really glad to find out that large sites are considered desirable.

I do grow concerned and have had to be very careful about how I'm planning certain sites, especially even with natural cross-linking.

I have one more specific question before I sign off, which may be a little harder to find the answer, if anyone knows - what might happen with this structural scenario....:

- I have been playing with the idea of getting 2 URL's... intimately related -or married (bear with me please) one provides the traffic as well as dynamic original content, the other a kind of curiosity shop, or pop museum.
- It would look like a collection of ancient monster tableaux that branch out thousands of tiny fuzzy information rich pages that in turn indivudually link to
- another site to books, pop culture items, foods, artifacts. The links would be really high in number because of how the information is distributed, and the stories are told.
-The point of having separate sites is creating different identities and purposes. In a way the selling might distract from the content in the first site... but if its placed in a separate shop the viewer will separate the museum from the shopping experience. My purposes of linking are entirely related to the content, and would want to do it rankings or none. I fear about creating this second url shop, but would really like to and could promote them diferently too. Are my fears based on reality?

My question is are 2 sites allowed to get married to one another like this, and go about whatever business they need to? Cool ((hehe) Why would the search engines care about that, if the links are relevant to the content? Can they tell the difference? Or are these sites intended to remain single and live alone forever????Rolling Eyes
