Hello,

I've looked at Rosalind's list of paid survey sites and visited several of them. I was nervous to pay for any of them though and decided to check ripoffreport.com. Several of the sites were listed on the report and people said after they paid the sign up fee (anywhere from $30-$50) they never heard back from the companies. Several people tried to get their money back but haven't been able. I thought Rosalind warned not to "pay" for jobs. Am I missing something?

I'm interested in making money taking surveys and I'm even willing to pay to get started but I'm not confident that it's really possible. Can anyone help me?

Thanks!

I was interested in doing survey's awhile ago and then I got too busy to do them and quit. Here is the one I went through that doesn't cost anything to join www.surveyclub.com and some others are survey-platinum.com and greenfield online. I think these last ones may cost, but I'm told they are good. and maybe survey-platinum may be free also.

Hope this helps.

Thanks! It does. I discovered suvery club today and it looks a little better but I'm still wondering if I'm ever going to actually see any money from this. Is there anyone out there who has actually recieved a check for doing surveys online?

I'd like to know that answer too. The reason I quit is because I would fill out the survey's and always it seemed that I wasn't who they were looking for and therefore I wouldn't get the $$. I guess they look for certain qualifications or people with certain experience with a product or a certain age group. I really didn't give it a whole lot of time.

Good luck!

I used to do a lot of surveys for the free-to-join survey sites. I made a few dollars (meaning maybe $10-$20 a month) and got a free package of diaper and wipes when my daughter was an infant, but usually found the same problem as Jodi just described. I'd spend a lot of time on qualifying questions, but was rarely selected for the full paying survey.

There are a few I would recommend, but for more of a hobby and the chance to win a cash drawing.

After spending all day yesterday signing up for survey sites and taking their ridiculous "surveys" that were really just trying to sell me stuff, I woke this morning and discovered hundreds of spyware programs on my computer. I am still working to get rid of them all. I've now spent over $100 on technical sport and anti-spyware software and the meagre amount of points and dollars that I made yesterday will never make up for the hassle I'm dealing with now. I can't believe I was so gullible. What a racket! I certainly don't recommend surveys to anyone! Hope you all have better luck with affiliate marketing.

Yes I can but I don't have a real list I have a couple sites you can start at I hate to give a list of sites though . This site has allot of survey places and I signed up to all of them but I get a hell of allot of spam I set up a account just for surveys with yahoo and it filters real well. I also downloaded www.roboform.com it fills the forms with one click it makes siging up allot faster another thing I did was use the same user name and password for all my survey sites that saved allot of time and I don't forget the passys. Ok on this page join the most Most Popular list first I been paid by everyone of those sites. there are over 450 sites here and I joined everyone I have not kept a record of what I have done were but everytime somebody sends me a survey if I can cash out I do so I have checks coming all the time.....maybe I should write a ebook....
I also set up a paypal account and a new bank account for the paypal account just to be safe.
ok here is a free list site: http://www.yellowsurveys.com/

Things I would stay away from if it asks for your zip code,if they have a page of free offers if the email is in HTML and looks real good, never pay to join a company, free paid surveys are the only ones that pay, If it says win a free (anything) then wants you to complete a bunch of offers all you will get is spam.
Most places take 4 to 6 weeks to pay you after you do the survey or request payment so it takes time to start getting checks all the time. Focus groups are good to I do some in person here in Raleigh they pay well. I am doing one next week testing a new product it pays 100$ for 90 minutes and I have to go in person it's a 20 minute drive each way last time I did one I got 50$ and it took 20 minutes of work looking at Icons for a soap despencer was easy. They had one were you sat in airline seats for 15 hours three differant days it paid 450$ But things like that are few and far between. So look at that list get robo form filler they have a free one or if you have xp it will do it too. Took me three days to join all the places on the list there and see what happens

I been making about 3 grand a year doing surveys it's not allot but I do it when I am eatting, half asleep and watching TV so It's a passive way for me to make a little extra cash. I have a few more lists of survey companys I am working on joining I am a member of over 700 companys now and It really dose not pay enough but it's always nice to see money in the mail box and my paypal account! Some pay with gift cards and amazon $$ and I have not used my own money to buy books this year just my gift cards and thats a good feeling.
