Question about affiliation

Does it cost the person who has the website and is linking an affiliate, any $$ at all? I've heard that a program such as commission Junction or whatever will take a percentage of each sale. Is that taken from the "store" providing the sale items? or the people linking and making the commission of 8% etc?

Good question. That is the case with some programs. Clickbank, for example, splits the fees between the merchant and the affiliate.

CJ however is pretty much WYSIWYG... what you see is what you get.

I do get dinged by them however as they for some reason cannot deposit into my U.S. dollar checking account here in Canada. They convert to Canadian and deposit to the CAD account. Sad
