Hi,
I've been looking for a way to eventually retire from my 65-mile commute, and affiliate marketing seems a good candidate.
I have had one site up for a week that is promoting Netflix, with 900+ clicks, >11% clickthrough to Netflix, but no sales. I'm doing something wrong ...
Dan

Dear Dan,
I had a very, very brief look at your site. You might want to make more areas clickable, such as the three DVD pictures in the center. Also, your headline "Try netflix for free" looks like something that should be clickable, but is not. Even if they all lead to the same link, it might help. Just my opinion...
Best,
Kevin |

Hi Dan,
A 65-mile commute!!! Aaaargh!
To end that sooner, you might want to consider:
Making your site more reader-friendly. White on a blue background is difficult to read.
Make links look like links... underlined in blue is pretty standard until the site has an established color scheme.
Provide more info on your homepage about what visitors will find.
In time, you might want to provide a list of movie categories to make finding specific genres easier.
Just things to consider while you're on your commute.
Cheers,
Ros |
