Looking at your site, I would have more text instead of images of text.
The feeling I got at first was that you might have just pasted content from the merchants.
I would try to make the content more personal...a message or article from you to the writer.
--looking at you clickthrough rate, I would make sure that you have more relevant ads. You should be getting close to 10 times the amount you're currently getting.
Have the viewer see the benefits more clearly. Distinguish what you have to offer that other sites don't.
Integrate well structured sales copy. Ros' book has some good info on this.

Hi there. I've checked out your site, and I know this is going to mean a bit of hard work for you, but I also think you really need to set it out a bit differently. It does just look like a lot of ads with manufacturers comments. Instead, I think you need to review the products. I think I would also go for less products, and maybe have a "favourite product review" in each section.
Also, you know you have the same pictures with writing underneath at the top of every page? That also looks like an ad,and you need to lose it from most of your pages, because as soon as someone clicks on a page, they see the same old thing again, and it doesn't tempt them to scroll down.
This could be a really good site if you make some changes. I know it sounds like hard work, but it will be worth it and save you wasting money on ads. I just created a new site with 160 pages, and afterwards I realised I made a huge error in the layout which would have affected my search engine ranking. I've have had to begin changing them all - even though it is tiresome, but it is worth it, if it encourages people to come to your site and click on your affiliate links. Good luck. |
