Hi!
I'm hoping someone may be able to help me. I recently bought Rosalinds' SAH and signed up with Blue Host. Before I signed up, I thoroughly read SAH and thought, okay, straight forward, so far easy to read instructional guide, this is great! now I LOVE SAH, but I am totally confused with Blue Host. I am an internet virgin, so to speak! So, I need easy to read and understand instructions. Stay with me, I will get to the point! I followed the steps given to install wordpress. Now I cannot access them. I am confused about how files are here there everywhere and I really don't know what I am doing. I've tried contacting Blue Host but haven't heard anything back yet, and I've also tried calling them on their number provided (been disconnected)and tried live chat (was waiting too long). I started optimistic (still am),but am progressing to utter total panic as I have brain overload, don't know where to begin and am just plain loosin it! (once I know what I am doing I'll be right!)
I know it's probably something I have or haven't done, I just don't have enough knowledge about it all. Please, if anyone has any advise, anything, please please share! I will kiss your feet if I ever meet you! |

Hi!
Okay, I think I'm calming down now! I thought I'd re-try installing wordpress and this time it worked! I tried again after that to get into the first one but it still keeps coming up as an error so I just removed it. So, now that ones out of the way. Phew!
Just thought I'd let you all know and to thank anyone who viewed my post to see if they could help. If anyone still has any advice or tips that could come in handy, please feel free to share them because I'm all ears!
I'm sure I'll think up some more questions or freak out about something else at some stage! So, until then.... Thank you and have a good one! |

Hello Aussie
Not often do we give an Aussie any advice but why not! Like you we are new to this business but we found that you just have to concentrate on one task at a time. Stick at that task until its done then move onto the next. We also found that we were getting swamped with info from everyone and that didn't help as we got side tracked. We just stopped clicking those boxes, opened only the important emails and concentrated on the job at hand.
After many long nights we launched our site and that was a great feeling. We are now refining things and starting to take on more info from others. The folk that say you can make thousands within days ... well ???
Anyhow hang in there it will all come together.
Regards from some Kiwis... |

Thank you! Yes, I did get a bit side tracked there. I was hoping I wouldn't fall into that, but I managed to allow myself! I have since started focusing on one step at a time and read through SAH again last night to refresh everything in my mind and have reorganised my emails! I will get there!
Thanks again!
