I just read The Super Affiliate Handbook, and I must say that I'm very impressed. As the director of affiliate marketing for an affiliate network, I believe that this is one of the best books ever written on affiliate marketing.
Rosalind covers all the key points and eliminates the need for trial and error. Her book provides very specific step-by-step advice.
Great stuff! |

Hey Glenn,
So pleased to hear that you found the Super Affiliate Handbook valuable.
I'd love to use what you said as a testimonial.. and probably will.
Now... all you need to do is get your affiliates to read it too!
Cheers,
Ros |

Rosalind, I have been doing quite well with clickbank, and I put you're ebook on a page of one of my websites today, so will let you know how i get on. By the way I came across a site yesterday, where someone who had not even read your ebook criticised it. I know you have also seen it because you had responsded to the thread.
Kind of condensing what was said in the thread - some people believe that concentrating totally on search engine optimisation - then having a rubbishy website which just contains a lot of links is the way to go. As Rosalind said, in the thread - in my own words - what's the point of getting a heap of traffic to your site, if they leave as soon as they get there. This is so true - remember this, in any business you start online or off - repeat business is crucial. It is far easier to sell to 20 existing customers than to find a new customer.
Someone also mentioned that you could buy better books in the store than ebooks. True, there are some totally rubbish ebooks out there. I got flamed for giving an ebook an ok review on my richerbrat site - and believe me, I was being kind in my review. But, there are also some good books and marketing courses available. The reason they are better as ebooks is because a book that is published in it's traditional method will be out of date as soon as it hits the shelves in the bookstore.
What happens is - the writer will complete the book - peddle it round all the agents and publishers, until it is eventually accepted. This could take a long time - at least a year in many cases. After acceptance, it is still unlikely to hit the bookshelves for at least 18 months.
So, you can imagine how out of date such a book might be. But, don't totally rule out reading in-print marketing books. Some came out even before the internet was around, and many of the old ideas still work |
