I found out about this forum from listening to a audio of Rosalind being interviewed. This is my first time on a IM forum.
It looks like there are alot of great people here. I have been studying Affiliate Marketing and other internet marketing avenues for over a year.

I love to read everything about it and listen to audios in my car.

I just started Google PPC and haven't had much success yet, but I am sure I will soon. So much to learn when you can only devote night time to study. I want to quit my day job now.

I have sold affiliate products on Ebay.

It's great to come here and talk about IM. My friends do not understand all of this online stuff and most of them are very negative.

Has anybody in here had any experiances with negative people when you try to explain what you are trying to do online?

Take care.

Hi musclememory,

Greetings! Like you, I'm addicted to affiliate marketing and have been working on it as my home business for the past 2 years.

Of course your friends are not sure what to make of your sudden passion. Most people don't get it, and are a little afraid of things they don't know. This happened to me too. In fact, some of my friends and family still behave as though I were playing a game, making excuses about my business to surf online. After a while though, you start running into more and more people who share your passion. And that feels GOOD!

Which is why I chose the subject heading - this is a famous quote attributed to Admiral David Farragut of the Union Army during the Battle of Mobile Bay. His 1st ship went down thanks to a minefield (known then as torpedoes), and he had to choose between entering the bay and risking all of his remaining 17 ships, or retreat. Of course he made it and won Very Happy

Regarding Google PPC, my favorite resource is Perry Marshall's Definitive Guide or Ultimate Guide. Check it out!

Cheers and good luck with IM!
Suresh
