Hi James,

Welcome to the forum. I have seen a lot of websites in my time, but never one selling laundry bags... Very creative. How long have you had the site online? And, how did you decide to go into that particular niche?

Best Regards,

J.

Thanks for the warm welcome, pelicancup.

My sister has a wash, dry and fold laundry service and she also sells laundry bags to the local customers. So I made a 10 page site on a free host back in 2001 for the laundry services and offered a few bags.

Last June I moved it to a paid host and expanded it to offer 14 colors of bags in the 4 sizes.

thanks for asking,
James

Hi pelicancup,

Actually not too bad considering there are about 2500 searches a month for our main keyword. The eBay Store does a little better than the website.

The revenue from the Google Adsense ads provide additional income and
I'm getting some sales from the free sites listed in the Traffic Builders Directory.

The product listing feed on Froogle also generates some sales as well.
But as far as affiliate revenue, naturally, the Oxiclean products do the best.

Interesting. I'm glad to hear it is doing well. It's amazing how many business possibilities the internet and affiliate marketing have unleashed...

Take care,

J.

Hi James,

Very cool... 2500 searches and the site is doing well. That's awesome! Congratulations!

I hope your example shows everyone that the possibilities for selling unusual products online is almost endless.

Welcome and keep up the great work!

Cheers,
Rosalind
