I just signed up to be an affiliate for Ms.Gardner's program. She promptly sent me a nice email and in it she mentioned "setting my cookies" and I am embarrassed to say I have no idea what she meant or how to do that task. I believe I am teachable, but frankly yall (yes I am from Texas) I am scared to death because I have zero idea on what to do next. The more I surf for info the more confused and overwhelmed I feel by the blizzard of info coming at me like an avalanche!! It makes me want to run for cover but being a tough Texan I am going to weather (I know I know too hokey ) and plead with all your seasoned marketers to point this gal in the right direction. I am delighted and excited to be a part of this forum and look forward to hearing from yall. Sincerely, Gina  |

Hello Gigi,
Feel free to call me 'Ros'.  Ms. Gardner sounds so formal...
Don't worry about cookies for now... you'll get there.
I suggest that you read the Super Affiliate Handbook once completely through (without doing anything) and then go back and re-read it again while taking the necessary steps.
Ignore the avalanche of info... for now.
In the future you may need/want additional software or to expand your marketing methods. Provided your site is humming along and making money, go out and get 'em!
In the meantime, focus, focus, focus!

Hi GIGI - I am a newbie as well and quite frankly I find alot of this stuff over whelming and exciting at the same time - Ros is right, read her book all the way through and then re-read it - I am on my second reading and I find that I am absorbing it a lot better now - what I did do that might help you is that I tagged each page that I thought was important or that required action on my part - like getting a pay pal account and stuff like that. I am currently doing more research and I think I found my host now and I named my website - so things are coming together - I just hope that some day I can say that I am able to quit my day job  |
