Yes, the phpBB forum has an unfriendly URL structure to be sure.
You can place a link in your signature line by enclosing the text in URL code that is surrounded by square brackets []. So, URL and /URL to close the tag.
Hope that makes sense.

The links are coded like this:

Just remember that affiliate links are not allowed in the signatures. If you do not have a non-affiliate link, then either leave your signature blank, or you can use a famous quote.
