Commission Junction

I tried to follow Ros's instructions re Commission Junction. The sign-up form for publishers has as its last entry "put the characters into the box below". Characters? What characters?
I emailed CJ several days ago to ask what they mean, but have had no response.
Is this a way to weed out publishers from other countries? (I'm based in New Zealand)
Ros did say that early on, she was rejected by them because she was based in Canada. However, they offer a big list of countries on their drop down menu, and New Zealand was one of them, so I'm really puzzled.
Can anyone advise?

Hi, you could try emailing them. The last few times I logged in - there was something wrong with the page, and not everything was showing up, so that may be the problem.

The main reason I have found that prevents you from getting an account at Commission Junction, is if you don't use your website email account.

I usually use my personal account when signing up for affiliate programs, and when I tried to join - I just wasn't getting an acceptance email. They don't let you know that they've rejected you - they just don't accept you.

As soon as I applied with a website email address they sent me an acceptance straight away. Good luck. And don't worry if you don't get in - there's heaps of others you can join.
