Hi Christie
The blog is clean, uncluttered and wide enough to fit the content. What I see though is that all of your posts are on one page. Especially for the longer articles, I think you should limit it to one per page, leaving room for comments and additional resources below it.
I also noticed that most of your article titles contain the word Fabulous. While that is fine, you might want to consider spreading them out some by varying the titles. A strong synonym for Fabulous could be equally as effective.
When creating your articles and pages, there is a section for Other Meta. Using that for your keywords and page descriptions can help people find the articles.
While descriptions and keywords are good for the search engines, using tags will help your visitors with their searches within your blog.
Of course, those are just the underlying technicalities. Anyone else have thoughts? |

Hello Christie, and Welcome!
I'll echo Jim's sentiments except I'm on the fence about the "fabulous" part. I agree, it does sound a tad repetitious but after all, it IS part of the name of, and one of the primary keywords for, the site. (Tough call. . .)
The only other thing I noticed was that the title and url state "You Fabulous You" and "youfabulousyou [.] com", but at the top of your mission statement box, you refer to "You Fabulous Woman". Is that a different site or an over-site (oversight, that is, heh, heh)? (Also, in your July 15th, 2008 "A Fabulous Woman Is A Positive Woman", the word "whining" has an extra "n" in each of the text links.)
All in all, I also like the uncluttered, easy to read format that you have provided for your viewers. I particularly enjoy sites like yours, where one can relax, enjoy and absorb the content without being visually beaten up by extra bells, whistles and blatant advertising.
Best wishes for your success, please keep us posted on how you progress and Persevere to Prosperity! |

| I think she's using the word fabulous in all the titles for SEO purposes. |

Keep 'em coming guys and gals.
I'm staying out of this because Christie is one of my students. But I did make that sidebar link to her other site, youfabulouswoman.com live, even though fixing that site up is next week's project. There we lack payment links and some other things on the other site are broken, soon to be back in biz though.
So by following that link maybe you'll see the connection for all the "fabulous." Christie has thought her branding out very well, I think.
OK I said I was staying out of it lol.

Ah-h-h. . .it WAS intentional. When I viewed it yesterday, "youfabulouswoman" was NOT a link, which was what prompted my question. (All is now right with my world, hee, hee!)
Keep up the good work, Christie! |
