|
|
I got some great feedback on this software, went ahead and ordered it, and now it will not install/open on my computer. It says SEE32.DLL not found when I try to run it.
Apparently, Artemis's customer support is a form that you enter your problem in, and then some kind of predictive software sends back what they think the answer to your problem is, only it's not even close in my case.
There is no phone number or direct e-mail anywhere to get a hold of them. I'm afraid I'll have to call my credit card company and cancel unless someone knows how to help me. Would appreciate feedback. Thanks!

| What does this software do? The see32.dll file is used along with your email program. Sometimes it's found by spyware removers and deleted from your pc. |

Sorry, it's an article submission software. I do have Spybot on my computer, as well as Avast and Windows Defender. Do you think that's the problem? I'm not sure how to resolve.
Any help would be great! |

SEE32.DLL is a component that is capable of connecting to SMTP servers and sending email. Some key-logger programs use SEE32.DLL for this purpose. ( Source: http://www.2-spyware.com/file-see32-dll.html )
Being that the file is used by spyware, it is possible that your anti-virus or Spybot has blocked access to that file.
While there may be some legitimate uses for that file, such as SMTP/POP3 Email Engine for Delphi 4.0, which may be what Artemis Pro Article Submitter was written in, searching Google the primary use for it is sending bulk email.
That makes sense for the Artemis Pro Article Submitter software too, since its purpose is to submit articles to multiple sites. So if you want to get the program installed, you will have to temporarily shut down Spybot and your anti-virus. Once re-enabled, the program will be scanned and tagged if it is determined to be a questionable program.
Note too that some programs may trigger a "false positive" meaning that although they act like spyware or a virus, they may be a safe program used by certain software packages.
