|
|
Can anyone recommend affiliate software for setting up your own affiliate program? I'm interested in hearing about experiences, especially of those listed below.
The features I'd like to have are tiered affiliate commissions, and automatic commission increase based on sales volume.
I've seen the following software, with my cursory comments:
1. Ultimate Affiliate Software by Groundbreak: Terrible support, haven't responded to my e-mails and phone number is wrong on website
2. Post Affiliate Pro
3. iDevAffiliate: Knowledge base has no content!
4. Your Own Affiliate Program: Can't get over the ugly design of the website and software interface
I'm leaning toward Post Affiliate Pro and iDevAffiliate.
Thanks!

Hello Lyman
First Id like to say I love your site SelfDefenseResource.com
Did you hand code the site or did you use a program to make it, if so which one?
As for your questions have you looked into AssocTRAC 4.0 the site is
http://www.marketingtips.com/assoctrac/
I dont recall if it has multi level commissions or not, but its something to look into.
There is also AffPlanet site is http://www.affplanet.com/
It has Multi Tier commissions built in to it as well. Hope this helps

Hello Lyman,
Very nice site indeed! (although we could chat about ways to improve monetization. )
Before I could answer your question, I would want to know whether you are selling a product or a service, and whether it is a real or virtual product.
Then I'd need to know whether or not you've already arranged a merchant account.
Other than that, I highly recommend that you read Ralph Wilson's "Report on Affiliate Management Software (2005 Edition)". That'll give you a much wider array from which to choose. Setup a spreadsheet to compare the affiliate management software solutions you are most interested in.
Hope that helps.
Cheers,
Ros |

Sorry this reply is so late. You don't need to make a spreadsheet as there's over 200 features and over 50 solutions - that would be 10,000 boxes to look at
You can compare them on the web using my affiliate comparison matrix.
Regards,
Peter |
