Deceptive Practices.
I ordered a (free) $29.00 S&H trial of their PPC Classroom. After I had entered my credit card info, their payment page would not let me proceed without signing up for a $497.00 plus $50/month package. I didn't want that and could not by-pass it so I clicked off their site without authorizing the sale. They billed my credit card anyway!
I did receive their material which was a poorly done re-hash of common knowledge, two amateurish interviews and several other CDs that didn't work. They may have been disabled or possibly they were DVDs. I'm not sure about that because I was extremely disappointed in the quality and the content and already beginning to feel "had" because I had not given final authorization for the sale anyway.
Well, then I checked my credit card charges and there it was! I was livid! I was seeing blood and I wanted blood!
I contacted the company by email with unsatisfactory results so I'm disputing the charge and pursuing a possible fraud case against Affiliate Classroom.  |

Thanks for letting us know about that. Normally when there is a free trial, an offer is made to upgrade and a link at the very bottom to bypass that offer is available. It usually says something like, "No thanks".
As for the content, a lot of rehashed information is floating around. Finding original content is getting tougher every day. They could be using that content as the introduction and provide the fresh content after subscribing to their program.
I have seen other offers do just the opposite: Offer the fresh content as a lead-in to the membership, where the older information is provided.
For those reasons, requesting input from others before buying is always a good idea. |
