If I sign up with an affiliate program and there is a newsletter sign up form on their sales page, will I still receive commissions on any purchases later made by someone who signs up to that particular merchants newsletter?
Thanks,

| It would depend on that particular merchant's policy. Some do, some don't. I'd suggest asking the merchant directly or checking the terms and conditions of the programme. |

Yeah, it sucks when they do that.
One of my favorite things to do it find affiliate programs where all you have to do is get the prospect on the mailing list and then the vendor sends out multiple offers where you get paid no matter what.
Some of my favorites for this technique:

About the only way you can be sure is sign up for the aff program yourself and see what happens when you go through the buying process.
Usually the last cookie wins, but beware cookie expiration and newsletters where you end up on a "pet" affiliate's list.
I'm in favor of lifetime cookies. |
