Straight from an Affiliate Manager’s Mouth, uh, Fingertips…

Frederic Thom, the affiliate program manager for Employment911, not only “provides excellent insight into the world of affiliate marketing and how best to make money in this very competitive marketplace” according to his blog description, but he also spills the beans on results he sees from his own affiliates at Employment911.

In his latest post, “Sites earning affiliate commissions - Winners and Losers“, Frederic shares exactly which types of affiliate sites earn 70% of all commissions paid.

If you’ve read the Super Affiliate Handbook you already KNOW this, but reminders are always a good thing.

He also spouts on which sites earn only 0.5% of all commissions paid.

Any guesses before you peek? :-)

Cheers,

Ros

P.S. Frederic, if you are reading this… a good designer at Elance could whip you up some better-looking banner graphics quickly and inexpensively. :-)

Hi Rosalind. I started building a content site some months back. I work on it when I can find the time. I am trying to do everything to build a quality site. Right now, all my articles are original information, even though I may add some RSS feeds soon. Originally, my intent was to build a content site to make money from adsense, but a person could starve waiting for someone to click on their adsense ads. The more I study, the more I believe that a content site would do much better promoting affiliate programs. I am getting ready to read your Super Affiliate Handbook and am looking forward to learning your tricks of the trade. Thanks for the blog post. I really enjoyed it.

You GO girl! :-) And you’re SO right when you say “but a person could starve waiting for someone to click on their adsense ads.” Keep up the good work and I wish you all the best of success with your site!

Cheers,
Rosalind
