Pass on Programs that Pay with ePassporte

Awhile back I found an affiliate program that looked like a good earnings prospect and was offered through the Genbucks affiliate network. As it turned out, the only two payment options Genbucks makes (EPassporte and wire transfer) left a lot to be desired. They would wire transfer your payment only AFTER you’d earned $1000 in commissions. So, I then checked out ePassporte and found the fees table (posted under a link that didn’t even look like a link).

Ya right. Most affiliates already lose a portion of their earnings when they promote for merchants that pay commissions only via PayPal. That’s quite enough thank you. We don’t need more accounts that charge transaction and annual fees. Send affiliates checks by mail, make wire transfers on much smaller amounts or pay by PayPal. Merchants and networks don’t need to re-invent the commission-payment wheel.
