NPT Forum Moderators Wanted

I can no longer keep up with all the spam on the NPT Forum and as noted in this post, the forum needs a moderator… or three. Are you up for the job? The pay sucks (nothing), but you will have my undying gratitude and a link to your site (as long as you remain a moderator) from a post on the NPT blog. :-) If you have time to invest and are interested, please leave a comment. Thanks!

Hi Ros!
I would be glad to help on a part time basis. If you find the other folks to share, you can count me in. I have been looking for a way to “pay back” what I have received from the online marketing community and this would be a perfect opportunity. Drop me a line and we will see if it’s a good fit. Thanks!
Russell

Hi Rosalind,

Right now I have time on my hand. Not sure when that is going to change. But I would like to make myself useful during the interim. I am willing to work with you or others in moderating this blog.

I await your reply.

Ros, I’d be glad to volunteer. I have a forum in the works for next year and would welcome the opportunity to learn more. Let me know, and if you have any questions you know what to do…Lowell

Ros, While I’m not up to the time/energy commitment of moderating, thought I’d throw in that one of the ways Blogger adresses this link spam problem is to only allow links to locations within the blog in comments. It sucks that the majority of blog users lose the opportunity to post a link to their page, but it cuts the link spammers off! And you could always allow a link from a friendly. But then, I don’t know how much WordPress will allow one to control this.

Hmm.. I’m liking it. If anyone knows which plugin allows links only from ‘friendlies’ please let me know where I can pick it up. :-) Ros

Hi Ros!

It sounds like something I’d love to do!

As I said in that ‘horrible’ video, you have an awesome crowd in your forum. Kinda rare now-a-days ;-)

I can offer about an hour two each day. And with a team of 3 doing the same, it should work out well.

I also offer experience.

I currently moderate for a huge community forum. And I’m involved with some great talent on that team. Experience with my own forums aside, this is where I learned to moderate by the experienced. And together, we manage quite a crowd ;-)

My marketing knowledge is broad based as well. I can contribute on many different levels in many different areas. If you have a direct email, I could send any details you like.

Do let me know where I can contact you, please? I also have an interesting proposal about moderation.

Talk soon!
Brad.

Well Ros, I just read the good news; you found some moderators who know what they’re doing. (Me, I’m just an exuberant internet newbie who recently took her travel agency online.)

Still, though, can we make a deal? Can I offer you a roundtrip to the Bahamas and a cruise for a link back to me?

I really don’t know how to market online. I’m not even sure what an afflilate is… Can I get people to be affliates for me, or do I need to be an affiliate for someone else… not sure if someone like me can learn from your book or not… will it help a business owner further her business? Or is it for people promoting another person’s product?

By the way, I’m not trying to buy traffic to my site by posting here. I’ve only had a handful of visitors, which is why I’m bribing you for a link. Well, either way, I want you to know that I find your straight manner of communicating extremely refreshing, and I enjoy reading your blog.

Sue Melin

Hey Sue,

Buy my book… it’s a lot cheaper than a trip, (not to mention the fact that I don’t accept bribes. :-)

The Super Affiliate Handbook primarily for people who want to earn commissions by affiliating with online merchants, however a number of online merchants have used it as a blueprint to structure their own affiliate programs. (Smart merchants! Find out what an affliate likes and wants then give it to them).

Cheers,
Ros
