No Ideas, Product, Website or Traffic?
How the heck could anyone build an Internet business if they have no business idea, no product, no website, and no traffic?
Here’s a better question still… how could they build that business in LESS than a week?
Well, based on a challenge from an angry blogger, you’ll be able to watch Derek Gehl (IMC) do exactly that.
He’s going to start a brand-new business 100% from scratch in less than ONE WEEK — and he’s going to film the entire process, turn it into a FREE video course and you’ll be able to watch him do it.
Starting April 21st, Derek will be releasing the complete “X-Treme Challenge” video course and over the following 4 days, you’ll have the opportunity to see EXACTLY how he builds a functioning, sales generating Internet business based on one his personal hobbies.
These videos will only be made available to those on Derek’s notification list, so if you want to learn how to build a money-making online business in one week or less, then register today to see all the episodes.
Even if you already have ideas, a product, know how to get traffic and build a website, you’re sure to pick up some great tips from these videos… ergo, I’ve already registered.

I am referring to your blog titled “No Ideas, Product, Website or Traffic?”
I could not understand “interest business”. Do you mean Internet business?
“How the heck could anyone build an interest business if they have no business idea, no product, no website, and no traffic?”

Thanks for pointing out my spelling error… you’re absolutely right, that should have been Internet business and the post has been corrected now. Thanks!

This does sound interesting. How did you hookup with this guy Ros? Did he request this post in your blog. It would have to generate huge traffic for him. It looks like it will be fun to watch.

Derek is the CEO of the Internet Marketing Center, the company that is responsible for producing great products like “Insiders Secrets to Marketing Your Business on the Internet“, which you can read more about here on the NPT blog in IMC Launches 2008 Version of “Insider’s Secrets”

Rosalind I have great respect for your thoughts and online business sense. But I have to point out that Derek is already a well know IM person. With tons of ideas, subscribers, followers, JV associates and tons of “Clout” in the online IM world. Of course he can build an Internet Business with nothing and make a profit in 2-3 weeks. You too could do the same thing.
The trick is to have the average IM Joe do the same thing.
Will I watch the “X-Treme Challenge” video course…absolutely!

Although it might be somewhat easier for Derek or I to go through the process of building a new Internet business website, we still have to follow all of the steps each time do it… market research, salesletter, website, building traffic etc… and I know that Derek has something up his sleeve to show how much simpler the process can actually be made for the ‘average Joe’. Good to hear that you’ll be watching!
Cheers,
Ros

I tried the link (also had received it in my email) to Derek’s video course but the site won’t come up (not found). Anybody else having the same problem? I haven’t had any issues going to other sites and have a fast connection. I’m actually looking forward to checking it out.
Keep up the good work Ros…I check your site often.

Ros,
If Derek really wants to test his theory about an “average Joe,” he should pick someone off of the street (and completely unknown to him or anyone else he knows) to do it. By his doing it, the test becomes invalid since he’s already got all of the expertise and know-how. No learning curve involved. In my opinion, it just looks like he got bored with the same old thing and was searching for a new angle to promote.

I think people like Ros and Derek are absolutely terrific people, who really do want to help the ordinary JOE escape the rat race and enjoy their lives.
As for grabbing an ordinary JOE from the streets, there would be scepticism there as well, who is the person, are we sure Derek does not know him and how do we know he has NO online knowledge??? We would never know and there are many out there who would definetely see this an opportunity to down grade the findings.
Like Ros has said, just because Derek and she are very experienced online, they still must start a business the same way each time in order to be sucessful. I will be watching very closely just to see how it can be done and move forward with the information that is given.
Just my 2 cents worth,
DZ
