Derek Gehl to Retire as CEO of the Internet Marketing Center
As you know, I’ve been a user, supporter and promoter of IMC’s products for over a decade, so it was a shock when I read this morning that as of next Friday, Derek Gehl – who along with the late Corey Rudl grew the Internet Marketing Center from a $25 investment into $100 MILLION in online sales – is retiring as CEO.
Apparently, he’s been planning this move for some time, preferring to follow his passion for working the front lines to sitting in a corner office.
As a “fond farewell” to his clients and colleagues, Derek has just launched the lastest version of “Insider Secrets” which is now being delivered entirely online.
That’s right. They’ve replaced the 2 massive binders with an easily accessible course (that also includes training videos) that can be revised on the fly and course owners will be notified by email each time a revision is made to the course. So, as long as you have access to the Internet, you can learn how to start and grow your successful business… anywhere, anytime. Good move!
I wish Derek all the best and suspect this won’t be the last we’ll hear from him.
