    “Best PLR” Article Challenge Winners

There were TWO winners in last week’s “Best PLR” challenge – Batsirai and Beverly – who both received a copy of the newly revised Super Affiliate Handbook.

The challenge was to tell me how and why – in 100 words or less – Becky Hagel and I chose the two winning articles in the original “PLR Challenge”.

The original article that was to be revised was “Tips to Choosing a Nursing Home”.

Here are the revised winning articles submitted by Jean and Jim:

    • Eight Tips (and Six Sources) to Choosing Your Nursing Home
    • How to Be Confident When Choosing a Nursing Home

    Here is Batsirai’s submission:

Both articles captured me – and I guess you – from the first paragraph. They did this by using such visual language. They told a story. They engaged our imaginations. They help the content apply to our personal situations.

They spoke directly to us throughout the article. Speaking in layman’s terms all the while providing insights we could immediately apply.

I felt like they must have done this before, because of the intimate, personal style of writing. This created a level of trust in what they were saying – making it more likely for me to act on any suggested actions.

    Here is Beverly’s submission… in exactly 100 words! :-) :

    1. The titles are interesting and more compelling. You have to grab the reader’s attention with the title.
    2. Personalization of the article, enough original content to pass duplicate content filters easily.
    3. Keyword density is on target. Good variations on primary keyword phrase and related terms. Good placement of keywords.
    4. Formatting is broken up into small chunks and easy to read.
    5. Presented in a way that fullfills a need for the reader. Grabs reader’s emotions.
    6. Good grammar, spelling, punctuation. No big words the reader can’t understand.
    7. You can sell anything you can tell a story about, and each told a story.

Both Beverly and Batsirai really understand what makes for good article writing.

I especially like Batsirai’s introduction “Both articles captured me…”.

By using the active verb ‘captured’, his introduction captured me! :-)

    Great work!

To recap in a nutshell what makes for a great article (your own articles or private label right article rewrites), here are the main points to consider:

Compelling Title – ULTRA important! No one will read your article if your title doesn’t grab them right away. If you need help with developing titles, you might want to consider the software “Headline Creator Pro“.

Make it Personal – Don’t be afraid to use the word ‘I’ and tell your story. People relate to real people, so share your real self.

The Finer Points – Grammar and spelling do count. Mispelled words and terrible grammar make readers pause and question an author’s credibility. When in doubt, use a spellchecker.

    Happy Writing!

    Cheers,
    Ros
