Affiliates Can Make More Money with Amazon Unbox Video™ Referals in June

Amazon announced today that they’ve increased commissions on Amazon Unbox Video™ downloads. For the month of June 2008 only, associates (affiliates) can earn 20% referral fees on Unbox Video™ downloads, which doubles the amount you’d normally make on these products.
The Amazon Unbox video downloads store has thousands of DVD-quality TV shows, movies, for your site visitors to purchase or rent. Visitors can browse by TV channel, movie studio, category, or genre. They can also watch movie or TV show previews using a preview player located at the top of the detail page for that video.
Links for Amazon Unbox downloads are built the same way as other Amazon product links are created in Associates Central. You can build a straight product link or a widget such as the one show here at the end of the post.
The Unbox Video Player Widget presents movie and tv show trailers and previews for a huge range of recent and classic titles including top TV shows from NBC, CBS, Fox, Showtime, Starz, the WB, National Geographic, and more. Movie downloads are released at the same time as DVD, so you can offer hits like Michael Clayton or There Will Be Blood at the same time as the local video store.

I know of many people who did not ever make money from Amazon.. Although, I must admit they are making it easier and easier for affiliates to make money with. Hopefully, more people will now make more money. Thanks for sharing.

I’ve always struggled with making money with Amazon. They just never converted well on any of my sites and I don’t know why. But the Unbox video player looks good so I’ll test it.

I have actually given up on Amazon all together…
Why have you given up? You just need to get high volumes of traffic. You need super affiliate traffic so to speak. Amazon can be a great cash piggy, you just need targeted traffic.
