PopShops and RevenueWire: Two Services to Watch
While prowling the exhibit hall with Anik Singal from AffiliateClassroom, I discovered 2 exciting new services.
PopShops is a GoldenCan competitor which claims to be “the first and only searchable collection of affiliate products (over 10 million and growing) that spans all of the major networks”.
With their Shopbuilder tool, you can create customized storefronts and widgets to earn commissions. Affiliates ID’s are embedded into the links and prices and product info is kept fresh through dynamic links. Read more

“I Don’t Believe in Affiliate Programs”
While trying to clear the fog from the darned red-eye flight that I took on the way down to Affiliate Summit in Miami, I spent a little time in my hotel room on Monday going back through through some of the older notes that we’d received on our NetProfitsToday.com support desk.
Having spent 4 hours on Sunday at the jam-packed Meet Market and having just come up from the Exhibit Hall, where throngs of people were ccrowding around merchant and affiliate network booths, the following letter struck me (for the second time) as completely ridiculous. Read more

Affiliate Summit East 2007: My Thoughts
Well, I have to hand it to Missy Ward and Shawn Collins - Affiliate Summit just keeps getting bigger and better.
As always, it’s great to to catch up with old friends and business colleagues at the Summit and do some business.
But I have to admit that I missed out on most of the party scene as my 19-hour travel day to Miami - which included a red-eye flight - completely threw me off for the first couple of days. Almost fell asleep in my shrimp dinner at Bubba Gumps on Saturday evening.
On Sunday, I spent 4 hours at the Meet Market talking to merchants, network representatives, super affiliates and affiliate bloggers. What I found particularly interesting were the program pitches… Read more

Affiliate Summit Meet Up?
I’ll be getting on a plane this afternoon at 5pm and doing the red-eye (what the heck was I thinking?) to Miami where I’ll be moderating the “What Super Affiliates Want” discussion panel with Scott Jangro and Jeremy Palmer.

Financial Freedom: Get Out from Under the Burden of Debt
I don’t often pass out financial advice, but odds are you have more debt than you’d like to have.
You likely DON’T know that the ‘common sense’ approaches to conquering debt can be very harmful and expensive!
You NEED to consider these FACTS:
- Having a savings account can COST you thousands of dollars
- Paying off high interest debts first can be the slowest way out of debt (do the math!)
- Paying extra money on more than one of your debts can actually keep you in debt longer
- Having many debts can actually help you get out of debt faster
- Your debts are often the very best investment you can make and much SAFER than today’s stock market!
- You can easily calculate EXACTLY when you’ll be out of debt

Declare Your Own Independence Day
As I write this, it’s almost July 4th, Independence Day in the U.S. and a day for Americans to celebrate!
I know one American affiliate marketer who has even MORE reason to celebrate on July the 4th.
His name is Doug and he chose this date in 2001 to quit his job and claim his PERSONAL independence. Three cheers for Doug!!!
