I read a report today at PC World that will warm the cockles of all honest, white-hat affiliate hearts… Court Shuts Down Alleged Spyware Operation. The site was shut down for “secretly loading spyware onto millions of computers after promising users free screen savers and video files”.
Gee, sound like anyone we know and that I ranted at length about not too long ago? Seems that despite a $3M fine, bad practices continue at Zango according to Ben Edelman.
The desired result of such news should be that affiliate purveyors of such crapola see the light and go white… ya well, in a perfect world.

Skype Gives Affiliates a 20% Commission Raise
It’s not everyday that affiliates get a 20% raise, but today Skype did just that when they went from 5% commissions to 25% commissions, and Skype is one of those programs that will work on just about any affiliate site, because who doesn’t want to talk for free with their friends and family or save money on their telephone calls?
Not familiar with Skype? Like Google Talk, you can use Skype to chat with your friends online for free. Additional options include SkypeIn, SkypeOut,
, Skype SMS, and Skype Voicemail

SkypeOut lets you call landlines and mobile phones around the world at local rates and users can buy credit in units of €10 or €25.
SkypeIn gives you a personal number so that friends can call you on Skype from their old-fashioned phones, wherever you connect around the world. A SkypeIn number costs €10 for 3 months or €30 for a full year and comes with free Skype Voicemail.

“Underground” III is open…

It’s Your DUTY to Get Stinkin’ Rich
Last Friday, I went to see former President Clinton speak and on Saturday attended Remembrance/Veterans Day ceremonies here in town.
Both events got me thinking about how we can motivate ourselves as Internet marketers (or anything else) to become more successful.
For me, it all comes down to gratitude, capacity and duty.
First, we must be truly GRATEFUL for the opportunity to freely pursue our goals and ambitions.
Secondly, we must appreciate our CAPACITY to become successful.
This might be a shocker… but simply by virtue of location and politics, 1/3 of the world’s people see little correlation between action and effect. In other words, they have no hope of succeeding, regardless of what they do.
We DO.
Lastly, we have a DUTY to those who went before to seize the opportunity, exercise our capacity and do great things for ourselves, our families and those less fortunate.
So, do you want to become more successful at everything you do?
Then throw off any self-imposed constraints and perceived ‘lacks’.
Appreciate the gifts, realize your capacity and do your duty… and get stinkin’ rich to help yourself and others!
(And just in case no one ever told you this - you CAN do anything you want to do and BE anyone you want to be, but YOU have to MAKE it happen.)
