Revenue Magazine: Wrong URL… Again!
I was just flipping through the latest issue of Revenue magazine to see which article I wanted to read first, and lo and behold I see my own picture staring back at me from page 62, which isn’t the ‘Affiliate’s Corner’ column page. (In case you don’t know, I write the Affiliate’s Corner column for Revenue magazine.)
Anyway, that made deciding which article to read pretty easy.
The article was a ‘what they’re doing now’ recap on the ‘5 Who Thrive’ who were written about in the first issue of Revenue, and I’d totally forgotten about doing the second interview. (Early onset of Altzheimer’s probably.)
Scanning the page, I noticed that the URL for my site printed as Sage-Heart.com. Yikes! It’s Sage-Hearts.com… with an ‘S‘.
So, just in case you visited that ‘other’ site… that’s not mine, and I won’t be held responsible!
More on the latest issue later.
Cheers,
Ros

Affiliate Commissions to Reach $6.5 billion in 2006
I just picked up a quick recap on the Affiliate Summit through Shawn Collin’s blog.
In her keynote address at Affiliate Summit this week in Vegas, Anne Holland, publisher of MarketingSherpa, forecasted affiliate commissions will reach $6.5 billion in 2006.
She also reported that the #1 moneymaking opportunity for affiliates in 2006 will be writing and distributing
press releases for customers, not journalists.
Interested in a bigger piece of that pie? Learn more about Anne’s projections for affiliate marketing opportunities in 2006 by checking out her powerpoint slides from the Summit.

Affiliate Manager? Like to Write?
Revenue Magazine’s senior editor, Maria Sample, is looking for affiliate managers to contribute to their ‘Manager’s Corner’ column.
To keep things spicey over there at Revenue, they’re looking for input from a different affiliate manager for every issue… so it’s not a long-term commitment.
So, if you’re an affiliate manager with an opinion and who likes to write, check out Maria’s entry on Revenue’s Blog. You’ll see her email address posted at the bottom of the entry.

January 2006 “Secrets to Their Success”
Sorry for the late notice… the January 2006 “Secrets to Their Success” is online.
In it, you’ll discover the exact strategies that Shawn used to turn his passion for helping young scientists into an impressive $90,000 per year!
My personal favorite … someone who turned his own success story into a serious money-maker, despite having ZERO experience at Internet marketing and almost no knowledge about how to get started.
Jay didn’t let inexperience hold him back. Within six months of launching his site, Jay had attracted one MILLION unique visitors to his web site. Find out how Jay has raked in $150,000… and counting!
Then there’s the “Site Review of the Month”. And remember, YOU could win $5,000 worth of e-business consulting with the Internet Marketing Center’s hotshot team of experts and have your own site profiled as the “Site Review of the Month”.
Last but not least, a subscription to STTS now includes the 8 ‘best ever’ success stories as a bonus. I noticed that my affiliate marketing success story is one of those… granted, it IS a GREAT story and I’m living it every day!

Find it on NPT Faster!
Some NPT’ers expressed difficulty finding previously mentioned products and services at NPT, so I created 2 ‘Find it Quick’ lists (using Webmerge).
One lists 79 topic subcategories such as 3rd-Party Payment Processors, Google Adsense and Clickbank Alternatives, Private Label Rights, etc.
The other lists 212 products and services covering all aspects of Internet and affiliate marketing by name.
You’ll find the lists via the ‘Quick Search‘ link on the right-hand navigation bar.

… and the Winner is…
Back in early December I announced the ‘Don’t Buy Ros a Coffee’ contest. To enter NPT’ers had to send me a birthday or Christmas card.
In return, one lucky winner would receive a copy of the Internet Marketing Center’s “Insider’s Secrets to Marketing Your Business on the Internet” course, and a softcover copy of my book, the “The Super Affiliate Handbook: How I Made $436,797 in One Year Selling Other People’s Stuff Online“.
Well, let me tell ya, the response was so great, I ran out of shelf space!
Thank you SO much to everyone who entered. I was truly tickled by the lovely sentiments, poetry, and the wonderful artistry on the homespun cards.
Special mention goes to Kenneth Fox who sent in his version of “Twas the Night Before Christmas” with an affiliate marketing slant.
Here’s a pic of some of the cards you sent in.

And the winner is Charles Amith of Tracy, California.
Congratulations, Charles! Your course and book are on their way!
