Cyber Monday Reports
Comscore Networks reported yesterday (November 29th) that U.S. consumers spent more than $925 million online during the Thanksgiving weekend (Thursday - Sunday), a 26% increase over the same time period in 2004.
They further reported that non-travel online spending on Cyber Monday, the traditional start to the holiday season, rose 26 percent to $485 million.

Good information and help is being given on a variety of topics.
Among the contributors, Denise from Dallas mentioned that her favorite affiliate software is XSitePro. So, I bought it and have now spent a few hours checking it out.
So far, so excellent! Once I’ve fully explored its capabilities, I’ll report my findings to you. My immediate
response however, is that it will probably replace Homesite in my arsenal… no more HTML tweaking… Hurray!

Have You Seen the “Affiliate Classroom”?

Going “Underground” … Again
Yanik Silver is doing it again - he’s holding another Underground Seminar!
Last April, Yanik Silver brought together a group of elusive and secretive real-word online success stories to

Maelstrom of Mail
Man oh Man!
Yesterday I was bombarded by tons more email than usual and then I saw the commonality - all the ‘extras’ seemed to be from Commission Juntion merchants.
So I logged into my account, and saw the following announcment:
Your CJ Account Manager Mail Settings Have Been Reset
To increase communications between advertisers and publishers, as well as provide clients with tips, trends and information on our new services we have updated your CJ Account Manager™ mail settings.
Effective November 10, 2005 your Commission Junction account email delivery settings have been reset and you will begin receiving newsletters, unique advertiser promotions and discounts and important advertiser program updates, from both Commission Junction and your advertisers.
If you would prefer not to get these emails you will need to change your email delivery options. From the CJ Account Manager, click on the “Mail Settings” tab and check the appropriate box next to the emails you do not want to receive.
Well, it took me awhile to check all those ‘appropriate boxes’, but the deluge has now subsided to just a sprinkle.
Don’t get me wrong, it’s good to get news from your CJ merchants… but I prefer to see it in their interface, not my Inbox.

Yahoo! Search Marketing Kills Minimum Monthly Spend
Best news I’ve heard in a long time!
Yahoo! Search Marketing (formerly Overture) advertisers no longer have to fork out a minimum of $20 each month.
I’ve had a Yahoo! Search Marketing PPC account to drive traffic to my sites since they were GoTo.com, back in the dark ages of Internet Marketing. I’ve had so much success with PPC, that I don’t need to rely on search engine traffic or fiddle with optimization (SEO) tactics at all.
Which is not to say I don’t get SE traffic - I do, and lots of it - but I don’t spend all day exchanging links, or figuring out keyword densities for my articles.
Just set up the advertising campaign, spend a buck to make 3 -4-5 or more, then go play.
That’s my idea of the good (Internet Marketer’s) life.
With no minimum spend, isn’t it time you set up a Yahoo! Search Marketing account?
