How to Avoid the "Newbie Trap"
By Rosalind Gardner | SUPER Tips
A completely avoidable trap...

In their rush to make piles of money online, WAY too many folks fall into this completely avoidable trap --- and end up making nothing at all.

So what do they do?

They try to do everything, eg. start multiple sites in different channels. By result, most never learn how to do anything well and therefore can't bring even one site to profitability.

If you're on this path or feel confused by all the different ways you can earn online...

SLOW DOWN!

I've been in this business since 1998, and nothing happened over night.

  • My first website was a not-for-profit flower seed exchange. Experience with that site made me realize the web's potential as a marketplace - so I started looking for online bizops at that point.
  • I found out about affiliate marketing and started Sage-Hearts.com an online dating review site for singles - a topic to which I could relate.
  • I dabbled in online auction selling.
  • I've had a drop-shipping arrangement with Eduardo Milieris' for years to sell his beautiful watches at WindingWay.com.
  • Sage-Hearts.com became so successful that I wrote the "Super Affiliate Handbook to share what I learned. That then qualifed me as an infoproduct merchant.
  • The book's success in teaching others has led to speaking opportunities (something I thought I'd NEVER do), my own 'Affiliate's Corner' column in Revenue Magazine and a book contract with McGraw Hill.
  • The opportunites to present have also opened doors to joint venture with other experts in the field to create more infoproducts and teleseminars.

As each venture was worked to profitability, new opportunities presented themselves. (Amazing how that works...).

Choose Your Channel First

You too can build a diversified and successful online business --- but you have to CHOOSE just ONE channel and concentrate on that one first.

So, CHOOSE whether you want to start with affiliate marketing, online auction selling or creating your own infoproduct, learn what you need to do and then WORK your venture to success.

Once your first site is successful, then try something else.

With one successful site under your belt, you'll have the knowledge and experience to get your second and subsequent sites launched and profitable much faster than you did the first.
