Old but NOT Decrepit

I am going to sell something new and different online.

Different for me, anyway.

And actually it's not new - it's old!

It's an existing product that won't require a lot of prep time to get ready for sale - which makes it perfect for lazy Internet marketers - like me.

And you? Are you lazy too?

It is a 'public domain' work.

Public domain works, eg. books, poems and articles have NO copyright protection.

Anyone (me, you, anyone) can copy, modify and sell them.

Better yet, you can even remove the original author's name and treat it as your own.

Moreover, once you modify a public domain work it becomes your property. The modified work receives an automatic copyright just like it would if it were an original work.

Copyrighted material enters the public domain in two ways. First, the creator of the work may surrender the copyright. More commonly, the copyright expires due to the passage of some legally stipulated period of time.

Old doesn't necessarily constitute decrepit when it comes to information.

Much of what we deal with throughout our lives is 'evergreen' in nature.

Consider health, fitness, sports, food, pets and gardeing just to name a few perrenial topics.

The basic 'how-to's for crafts like knitting, crochet and needlepoint don't change over time and thousands of books on those topics have been written.

Many of these how-to manuals about knitting (and a zillion other topics) are in the public domain and available for you to modify and call your own.

For example, how long have golfers been trying to improve their swing?

Michael Green saw the perennial 'need' and re-introduced the world to "How To Achieve The Swing In Golf" as an ebook.

He sells them each and every day for years now.

Many people have made a lot of money selling works in the public domain.

Rebecca Fine is another one of those people. Rebecca took a book that was in the public domain and built an entire online business empire around it.

You've probably heard of or even read the book. It is "The Science of Getting Rich" by Wallace D. Wattles.

What's amazing is that Rebecca gives the book away and STILL makes a fortune from the work!

What she does is so smart and so intriguing that attendees rushed the stage when she finished her speech at Yanik Silver's first Underground seminar.

Yanik Silver also sells public domain works online.

Figure Drawing Secrets is one of his products.

Yanik became so expert at finding and assessing public domain materials for profitability that he created an educational product called "Public Domain Riches".

I studied "Public Domain Riches" thoroughly and made notes.

What I didn't make was time to find a public domain or assess its profit potential.

Now I don't have to... and neither do you.

Yanik got together with Michael Holland and have done the work for us.

It's called "Public Domain Goldmine" and contains 35 works in 'evergreen' niches.

Moreover, they've also done the keyword research for search engine and PPC advertising purposes.

Yanik and Michael also listed potential 'profit centers' ... sites that have an interest in selling your book... ie. your own affiliates!

You may be wondering why I waited until Volume 8 was released to mention this...

Well, I like to check things out first and OK, I'm a little slow sometimes.

Too, all of the previous volumes sold out in days.

This time Yanik and Michael gave me - you - us the leg up.

Oops, I see we weren't the only ones. They also announced it to their subscribers, so there are only 184 of 250 packages remaining.

Yikes, make that 132!

OK, I'll shut up now so you can get your copy today.

Chances are it won't be there tomorrow.
