At their invitation, I attended Performics' Client Summit last week to participate in a roundtable discussion about the 'Publisher's Perspective'.

I always appreciate the opportunity to share my preference for high commissions and low email volume with merchants. :-)

The keynote address was delivered by Seth Godin. If you EVER have a chance to hear him speak, do so! I've rarely, if ever, been treated to such a captivating speaker.

Seth's most recent book is "All Marketers Are Liars". HIGHLY recommended reading.

In addition to a day of excellent speakers and panel discussions, I met Super DUPER affiliates from CoolSavings, eBates and other loyalty and coupon sites. These are affiliate marketing sites with staff, which is what makes them Super DUPER.

(Don't think I'll trade being 'super' ... 3 million in sales this past fiscal year ... with being 'super duper' anytime soon. Working at home with Vic. the cat. sleeping on the desk beside the computer is just SO nice!)

Chicago wasn't all work though... the Performics folks also treated us to some fun...

But back to work now though.

In addition to writing my next installment for Revenue magazine, and setting up the new customer/subscriber support system on NetProfitsToday.com this week, I'll also be writing an article about a time-wasting traffic technique you may be using.
