Thank You!
Please let me begin by saying 'Thank You!' SO much for
posting your comments about Corey Rudl on the NPT blog. We all take comfort in
knowing our feelings for our mentor and friend are shared, and that we aren't
alone in our loss.
If you haven't done so already, and want to express your
condolences or share a 'Corey story', you may do so at:

I was shocked to discover that many of you learned about
Corey's accident via the NPT only last Tuesday.

IMC Affiliates
Are you an IMC (Internet Marketing Center) affiliate,
concerned about your IMC promotions?
Well, last week I was talking to Chris Reynolds, the
Internet Marketing Center's affiliate manager, and he said 'don't change a thing'.
I personally wouldn't have considered removing my IMC links,
or changing anything about the way I promote Corey's work, but I guess there
are some concerns out there.
Let me say this about that.
This is not the time to withdraw your support. Now more than
ever we should share Corey's good work with aspiring Internet marketers and let
them know how he helped us develop our own successful Internet marketing
businesses.
Corey may be gone, but the IMC and his work are alive and
well. In fact, Version 2005 of "The Insider Secrets to Marketing Your
Business on the Internet" was just
released, and it includes two 8" x 11" binders, three resource CDs
and four bonus guidebooks.
The course is current and comprehensive; and newbie Internet
marketers STILL need good information to get their businesses started.
So, keep promoting it!
If you promote Internet Marketing products, but don't sell
IMC... start!
You'll earn $65 in commission on each "Insiders
Secrets" course sold through your affiliate link, and Corey produced a
whole host of other valuable products for you to promote.

better than other affiliates, so get your own copy here:

Affiliate-Summit-05
So here I am in fabulous Las Vegas, and I have a confession
to make.
Affiliate Summit '05 is the first conference I've attended
that is specific to Affiliate Marketing.
Prior to this event, I've been to Internet Marketing
seminars where I had the opportunity to teach Internet Marketers how to
increase their site revenues by tapping into the Affiliate Marketing channel.
By contrast, Affiliate Summit '05 speakers and participants
are primarily affiliate program managers, senior level executives from the
major affiliate networks, and merchants who are here for information related
specifically to Affiliate Marketing... and perhaps to plug a slot machine or
two.
Today's presentation choices included:
- Panel discussion about affiliates bidding on trademarks.
- Rachel Honoway's strategies for improving revenue based on case studies.
- Ola Edvardsson talked about
why there is still room new publishers
and advertisers to create virtual real estate empires from scratch.
- Our panel discussion on "What Affiliates
Want".
- Brad Fallon explained "How to Make Google YOUR
Affiliate".
Brad Fallon Sidebar
A note about Brad... this guy REALLY knows what he is
talking about when it comes to SEO (search engine optimization) and marketing
online.
When news of IMC's accident broke, Brad, like SO many others,
published the news via his blog. Unlike the others however, Brad's page came up
on the first page of Google returns when you search for news about the
accident.
Check out his "Stomping the Search Engines" here:

Back to the Summit...
Back to the Summit... other topics today included CAN-SPAM,
recruiting affiliates, datafeeds, legal concerns and more search engine
strategies.
All good stuff.
In the next weeks and months I'll be incorporating what I've
learned here at the Affiliate Summit into the NPT newsletters.
I could come right out and tell ya now, but the event
organizer, Shawn Collins, would probably be choked that I 'gave away the goods'
that others paid to learn.
Fair enough?
Revenue Magazine
What I CAN tell you is that Revenue Magazine just announced
"We are also pleased to welcome new contributors to the Revenue family.
Rosalind Gardner, who literally wrote 'the book' on being a super-affiliate,
will be penning our Affiliate’s Corner column. She’ll bring you her expert
insight, tips and tricks and her hard-earned wisdom."
(I'll be sending that to my mom...)
For those opposed to deforestation, Revenue Magazine is now
publishing a digital version. Get a 'special deal' at:
Revenue Magazine - Digital
If you prefer to read while relaxing in your easy chair (as
I do), then get the glossy version here, where the same deal applies:

newsletter, check out:

Will There be Another Underground?
Here's some excellent news. Yanik Silver told me that he's
already planning another Underground Seminar for next year and working on a
'pretty cool line-up'.
That'll be the first seminar I go to as an 'attendee'. I'll
keep you posted on then when's and where's, and plan to see you there!
Clickbank Improvements
More good news. Clickbank is adding the PayPal option to
their order form in July.
That's awesome. Now you'll be able to offer your customers
option to use PayPal without having to worry about ripping your affiliates off
for their referrals.
What I do now to ensure affiliates get their commissions
due, when my customers specifically request the PayPal option, is to ask them
which site referred them to the Super Affiliate Handbook... and even then I'm
always concerned that credit isn't being given where credit is really due.
That won't be a concern anymore, thank goodness.
From the affiliate perspective, you'll put more money in
your pocket as customers have more payment options and your commissions are
properly credited regardless of the method chosen.
ePublishing Marketing Mastermind
BTW, time is running out to join Alan Bechtold's
"ePublishing Marketing Mastermind" group. Alan's cut-off for joining
is June 18th, and it's doubtful he'll extend beyond that date.
If you want to publish a book, or launch a
revenue-generating ezine, (even if you can't write a word), go to the site
below and fill out the application.
To claim the HUGE discount, remember to put my name,
Rosalind Gardner, in the 'Who referred you to this opportunity?' section.

Speaking of ezines... it's time to put this issue of the NPT (and me)
to bed!
'Til next time, have a profitable week!
Cheers, Rosalind
