Affiliates: Turn Up the Volume with MUSIC Programs
Are you taking advantage of all the affiliate programs and
products available in your market?
Yes? No? Don't know?
Well, in my snoops about Internet town, I see many
affiliates who are simply leaving money on the table.
For example, why would an affiliate in the gardening market
sell only seeds and flowers? Won't their visitors also
appreciate tools, patio furniture, books, magazines and cool
summer clothing?
For fans who buy those Yankees jerseys, bats and balls;
wouldn't they also like to see a game?
Here's a product that affiliates can add to almost any site,
yet the possibility rarely crosses most of their minds.
Music.
Don't think you can add music to your gardening site?
Think again.
Many gardeners use headphones while they toil in the soil. I
pack the Bose wave radio out to the back. Others use
wireless speakers to blast rock while they dig rock.
So, how about adding a 'Music to Garden by' link to your
navigation? Give your visitors an idea, they'll go with it
and you'll make more money, honey.
Let's look at some other types of affiliate sites where
adding music can add to your bottom line.
Wedding Affiliate Site - Those tying the knot will be
looking for ceremony music, cocktail hour music, first dance
songs, mother / son (groom) songs, father / daughter (bride)
songs, group dance specialty music, and last dance songs. Make
some suggestions.
Dating Affiliate Site - Recommend a selection of love song
compilation CD's that your visitors can easily buy and have
sent to their online amour.
Travel Affiliate Site - How better to get in the swing of
things for a trip to Spain than to listen to Flamenco? For

Baby Affiliate Site - Forget the lullabies. Help out new

and other artists' music CD's. You know they want it.
Pet Affiliate Site - You may be thinking that I've gone too
far by suggesting music for pets... but hear me out. The pet
market is HUGE and we pet lovers will do just about anything
for the furry little people in our lives. So, here's a list
of pet music available at Amazon.
Holiday Affiliate Site - Do you celebrate Christmas,
Hanukkah or Kwanzaa on your site all year long? Then O Come,
All Ye Faithful and Have Yourself a Holly Jolly Christmas by
selling more of what your visitors want.
Let's go back to pets for a moment. I also stumbled across
the holiday theme while I was looking for pet music. Here
are some Christmas CD's for Fido and Felix:
Internet Marketing Site - Should you recommend music on your
internet marketing site? Sure, why not? We sit at home all
day long listening to Taps on our computer keyboards...
music would be a vast improvement.
Otherwise, you might suggest that they promote music on
THEIR sites and then recommend some good affiliate programs.
Speaking of which, check out these affiliate programs:
Put yourself in your visitors' minds and hearts. Who are
they? What do they do? What do they want? Figure that out
and then give it to them. Help them and you'll help
yourself.
